Bitcoin Core v26
The security model: UTXO accounting, script validation and peer-to-peer networking from one of the most reviewed codebases in the industry.
Technology
How the blockchain, the mining, the supply and the network really work. Every number on this page comes from the Bits-Crypto source code and the live network, not from marketing copy.
01 · What it is
Bits-Crypto (ticker BITS) is an independent Proof of Work blockchain with its own genesis block, rules and nodes. It shares no coins, history or peers with any other chain.
The security model: UTXO accounting, script validation and peer-to-peer networking from one of the most reviewed codebases in the industry.
Speed and fairness: 15-second blocks, five mining algorithms and difficulty that adjusts per algorithm.
Our own parameters: a new genesis block, supply schedule, address format and network.
100% open source. Anyone can mine it, run a node or read every line of code.
02 · The genesis block
Every blockchain starts with one block that has no parent. Ours was mined on 11 October 2026 at 00:00:00 UTC, with a message written into it forever:
“AI opens the machine economy; blockchain keeps it fair. Freedom and access for all.”
The genesis values are reproducible: a script in the source re-mines them, and every node refuses to start if the hash doesn't match the one hard-coded in its chain parameters.

03 · Speed
That's 40x faster than Bitcoin. Your payment gets its first confirmation in seconds and several confirmations in about a minute. Frequent blocks also spread rewards more evenly across miners.
04 · Coin supply
Block rewards are enforced by consensus in GetBlockSubsidy(). Every node rejects a block that pays itself more than the rules allow.
05 · Mining
Most coins pick one mining algorithm, which lets whoever owns the most specialised hardware dominate. Bits-Crypto runs five at once, so GPU owners, FPGA owners and ASIC farms can all earn BITS.

A chain of five different hash functions.
FPGAs · GPUs
Reshapes itself every 10 days. A custom chip takes months to design, so ASICs can't keep up.
06 · Security & upgrades
Older chains switched on improvements one at a time over years. Bits-Crypto started with all of them active.
BIP34Block height in every coinbase, so each one is unique.
BIP65 · CLTVTime-locked coins.
BIP66Strict signature encoding.
CSVRelative time locks, the base for payment channels.
SegWitNo transaction malleability, cheaper transactions, bits1… addresses.
TaprootSchnorr signatures for more private, efficient smart contracts.
Future changes use BIP9 signalling: an upgrade activates only when 70% of blocks in a one-week window (40,320 blocks) signal support. Miners and node operators decide together.
Replace-by-fee is off. Once a transaction is broadcast, it can't be swapped for another with a higher fee, so fast payments stay predictable.
07 · Privacy
On most blockchains, the first node to broadcast a transaction is probably the sender, so anyone watching can link payments to IP addresses. Bits-Crypto relays transactions with Dandelion++, on by default.
Your transaction is passed privately from peer to peer along a random path, held in a separate “stempool”, not the public mempool.
After a random number of hops, one node broadcasts it to everyone as usual.
If it doesn't show up publicly in time, a node broadcasts it itself, so nothing gets lost.
To an observer, your transaction appears to come from a random node somewhere on the network, not from you.
08 · Network
Every node keeps a full copy of the chain and checks every block and transaction on its own. That's what “no one owns the switch” means in practice.
130231202638443Unique network “magic bytes” start every message, so Bits-Crypto nodes ignore traffic from other chains and the networks can never accidentally merge.
bits1…B…tbits1…Addresses are unique to Bits-Crypto, so coins can't be sent to the wrong chain by mistake. HD wallets mean one backup restores every address.
A typical transaction is a few hundred bytes. As block rewards halve over the decades, fees take over as what keeps miners securing the chain.
09 · Wallets & tools
The Bits-Crypto Core wallet downloads and verifies the whole chain itself, so you never have to trust a third-party server.

10 · How it all fits
You sign a transaction in your wallet and it enters the network via Dandelion++.
Nodes verify the signatures and rules, then hold it in their mempool.
A miner on any of the five algorithms includes it in a block, on average within 15 seconds.
Every node checks the block independently and adds it to its chain.
The explorer indexes the block, and the payment is visible to anyone.
11 · Live tools
Two public tools let you check the chain and start mining today.
Block explorer
Every block, transaction and address, plus the live coin supply. New blocks sync every minute, served over HTTPS.
Mining partner
stratum+tcp://urpool.io:3032You don't have to use URPool. The protocol is open: anyone can solo mine against their own node or run a competing pool.
